Meal Services
The Oconee County Senior Center offers meal services for qualifying older adults in our community.
Congregate Meals
A well-balanced, nutritious meal is served daily, Monday through Thursday. To participate in the congregate meal program, you must meet the criteria for participation and register for membership.
A contribution of $3.00 per meal is appreciated; however, no one will be turned away for the inability to contribute.
Reservations for lunch must be made at least 3 days in advance.
** Please contact the center to inquire about participation, as space is limited.
The cost is $5.00 per meal for guests.
Home Delivered Meals – Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels provides homebound citizens a nutritious meal, a friendly visit, and a quick safety check in our community. If interested, please contact Northeast Georgia Area Agency on Aging at 706-583-2546 or 800-474-7540.
The Oconee County Senior Center welcomes volunteers for the Meals on Wheels program. Meals are delivered from the senior center daily. To find out how you can make a difference in the lives of others, please call 706-769-3979 or complete the online Volunteer Interest Form now!
