2025 Summer Sports Camp Frequently Asked Questions

We partner with qualified and licensed coaches for the best camp experience. Each camp focuses on sport-specific fundamentals, provides situational practices, and opportunities for gameplay. All camps have limited enrollment.

Registration for Oconee County residents begins Monday, April 14th at 8 a.m. Registration for non-Oconee County residents begins Monday, April 28th. Registration is online only. Registration deadline is 7 days in advance of the camp start date.

IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A SPORTS CAMP T-SHIRT, PARTICIPANTS MUST BE REGISTERED 7 DAYS IN ADVANCE.

June 9-13 Camps

Beach Volleyball Camp - GIRLS
Campers will learn the basics of volleyball – passing, setting, spiking, digging and serving through skills training and recreational games. Taught by Shannon Thompson, head coach at Roadrunner Volleyball. Campers should wear athletic clothing and sneakers and bring a water bottle. The camp will take place on the sand court at Herman C. Michael Park, so campers should be prepared to be outside in the sun and to get sandy.

Ages: 7-15
Days: Monday-Thursday
Times: 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Dates: June 9-12, 2025
Location: HCM Sand Volleyball Court
Fee: In County $120; Out of County $240

Soccer Camp (Evening Hours)
This camp is an introduction to soccer with emphasis on skills development (dribbling, shooting, receiving, and gamesmanship) through individual training and small-sided games. Instructed by Dante Trevino, Director of Coaching for Oconee Futbol Club, and his staff. Campers should wear athletic shoes and clothes, and bring a snack and a water bottle.

Days: Monday-Friday
Times: 6-8 p.m.

Location: OVP Multipurpose Fields
