Jury Duty Summons
If you have received a summons for jury duty, you should follow the clerk of court’s instructions in advance of your date of service. On your date of service, you should report to Oconee County Courthouse as directed. The clerk of courts will check you in, and you will wait with other jurors for further instructions. Please dress in business casual for jury duty. You can bring a book or electronic device while waiting but in the courtroom they are not allowed and must be turned off and put away.

If you are concerned with being able to attend jury duty you can call the Clerk of Court's office at 706-769-3940.
You can also fill out/print this form online for Jury Excusal/Deferment(PDF) or Affidavit for Inactivation(PDF). The form must be turned in person and notarized. There is no online submit area.
